BRODY SUTTER

Brody Sutter is a retired professional ice hockey forward. He was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes, 193rd overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

After moving to Calgary at the age of 13, Brody was a member of the Calgary Buffaloes organization.

He started his junior career in the WHL playing for the Saskatoon Blades and the Lethbridge Hurricanes. He then graduated to pro hockey, where he was a part of the Carolina Hurricanes organization, playing for the Hurricanes and also for their minor league team, the AHL's Charlotte Checkers.

Brody was also a member of the Winnipeg Jets and Florida Panthers organizations, playing for the Manitoba Moose (AHL) and Springfield Thunderbirds (AHL).

He began his European Elite league career in 2018, as a member of Vaasa Sport in the Finnish Elite League. He also played in the DEL (German Elite League) for the Iserlohn Roosters and also in the ICEHL (Austrian Elite League) for the Vienna Capitals.
 
The Sutter Skills 3 on 3 program has been developed with the understanding of how important it is for kids to pursue multiple sports. Brody grew up playing baseball, basketball, and golf in the off season. 

Brody calls Calgary home and he is passionate about working with the city's next generation of elite level hockey players.
